Jason Jones ICF-MN fills my bucket!! I look forward to the in person meetings to connect with my tribe of coaches and enjoy the way of being only coaches embody. It energizes me. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/Jason_Jones_1992631113.jpg
Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Irene Kelly

Being a member of ICF offers me the opportunity for certification by the industry professional standard bearer; being a member of ICF Minnesota connects me to my professional peers for networking and collaboration.  Membership in both establishes me as “credible” and provides me opportunities to learn and grow.

Meet Mary Stieber Reynhout

1. What brought you to coaching?

Coaching has been a natural outgrowth of the career I’ve built as a multi-faceted talent development leader, career strategist, and HR practitioner and consultant. My graduate program in counseling psychology at the UMN still informs my coaching style and effectiveness. Because of the value I gleaned from assessments to increase my own self-awareness, I gained a deep appreciation for incorporating assessments like Hogan Leadership Suite and the EQ-i 2.0 into my coaching practice. My strong interest in coaching led me to complete a coaching program with the College for Executive Coaching to become an ICF-Certified Coach.

2. Tell us about your coaching practice.

Primarily, I’m a leadership coach and career strategist. A few of my strong suits include building psychological fitness, adaptability, resilience, and emotional intelligence. Given previous leadership roles I held, I have expertise in coaching executives on ways to advance diversity, inclusion, and equity in their organizations; build multicultural and global teams; and lead organizational and culture change. I also offer career management and job search coaching for those seeking and making career transitions. In the last two years, I’ve coached job seekers between the ages of 22 and 77! I specialize in supporting women’s professional growth and achievement. This spring I added an exciting contract with Korn Ferry to my coaching portfolio, providing assessment and coaching services to clients that align with KF’s new Inclusive Leader model and solution.

3. What do you love about your coaching work?

I am honored to coach clients as they wrestle with big, hairy, consequential questions, and then accompany them as they gain clarity and make desired change in their lives, relationships, and organizations. I coach clients to navigate crossroads with greater confidence while gaining new knowledge and skill. I am equally motivated by engaging clients in “what-if” thinking as I am by systematic problem solving. I seek to bring out the best in people and guide them toward accessing what they need to make wise decisions and chart a path forward to achieve their goals. It’s thrilling when clients step outside of their comfort zones to bring dreams to life. A great outcome for me is seeing people live more courageously with a greater sense of purpose, wholeness, and joy.

4. Tell us about the coaching tools, books, podcasts, etc. that you follow that helps you to stay informed.

I am a big fan of Dr. Amy Edmundson and her teaching on building psychologically safe relationships and organizations. Hannah Morgan (Career Sherpa) is a fantastic career coach and curator of resources for job seekers and coaches. I follow Josh Bersin religiously, and I’ve discovered I like almost every book and author who publishes with Berrett-Koehler Publishers.

5. How has ICF-MN helped you as a coach?

ICF-MN has helped me expand my network of MN-based coaches and added to my set of tools, resources, and books to read!

6. How can folks connect with you?
