Meet the Coach: Holly O’Hanlon
What brought you to coaching?
The desire to work with people in a more meaningful way. As I grew a team in my corporate role, I realized how much I enjoyed helping those on my team develop and grow, and I just wanted to be better at it. I have also always had a passion for well-being and helping others improve theirs. Eventually, I decided to leave my corporate job, learn what being a Coach truly meant and start my own business!
Tell us about your coaching practice. (Niche, idealclient, etc.)
I have two business that both encompass my love for helping people define what they want in their health, work, and overall life. InTrust Wellness is focused on working individually with women who want to rediscover, define, and improve their well-being. They are often looking for more meaning in their life, are working through a major transition, or simply want to feel more well because they are currently overwhelmed. My other business, Live Well. Lead Well., I run with another ICF member, Bryana Grovender, and our mission is to infuse well-being and leadership into cultures and teams within organizations. Our ideal client is a small to mid-sized company who understands the value of well-being for their employees and needs help infusing it into their culture.
What do you love about your coaching work?
While there are common themes I see with my clients, I love how unique each person is, and how even the smallest amount of awareness can create big change in their life. I love seeing clients take back ownership of their lives and wellness. Watching a client realize they have so many more options than they once thought and create an action plan around what they want and are passionate about is incredible. Lastly, I appreciate the space we provide our clients as coaches. It’s amazing to be able work with someone you hardly know in the beginning and quickly create such a deep connection of trust and support.

How has ICF-MN helped you as a coach?
As a newer coach, ICF has helped me continue learning and developing as a coach through the webinars and speakers, in addition to meeting other coaches and making new connections in the practice. ICF also allows me to understand what others do so I can help spread the word for them and their business as well.
