Jason Jones ICF-MN fills my bucket!! I look forward to the in person meetings to connect with my tribe of coaches and enjoy the way of being only coaches embody. It energizes me. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/Jason_Jones_1992631113.jpg
Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Irene Kelly

Being a member of ICF offers me the opportunity for certification by the industry professional standard bearer; being a member of ICF Minnesota connects me to my professional peers for networking and collaboration.  Membership in both establishes me as “credible” and provides me opportunities to learn and grow.

Gratitude-Trust-Superpower

I am sure you are wondering what gratitude, trust and superpower has to do with each other, good question. How are they connected and why are they important? All of them are words that are used by many and have importance personally and professionally. So how do we connect the dots and make those words come alive for each of us.

Have you ever noticed that when you focus on the upside or positive through the lens of gratitude it creates an energy that can pull us into an attitude shift? I don’t know about you but 2020 has been challenging with many ups and downs and frankly has proven to be exhausting at times. Through the last 7 months we have been faced with many things, COVID, Social Justice, politics, distance learning, social distancing, masks, great sadness and yes, the loss of some of our friends and loved ones. To be honest trying to focus on gratitude has, at times, been difficult. While we navigate the situation I wondered, if we did focus on what we can do versus what we cannot, how that could change the landscape and create light in the darkness.

I was once told “what you think about you bring about” Read more...

Finding Balance and Resilience While Navigating Rapid Change

Our world is filled with disorienting, rapid changes that have blended the boundaries of our work and home life. This has created increased demand on our time and attention, as well as decreased space and time for resting and recharging. Which leaves us wondering how we can find balance and resilience in this new normal. It's easy to lose focus on ourselves and stop making simple daily choices that help us bounce back no matter what life throws our way. This presentation offers an opportunity to reconnect with yourself while you try out practices and skills that are simple to remember, easy to apply, and nourishing for your whole being. https://youtu.be/FDDIRjTW6cE

Meet The Coach

Kathleen Marron HS
Kathleen A. Marron, JD, PCC

1. What brought you to coaching?

It was an unexpected path. As a national law firm leader, trial lawyer, and non-profit board chair, I thought I had my ideal career. Yet, after 20 years, I felt restless- I felt inspired to make a bigger difference in the world. I saw vast gender and racial disparities and, as the mother of two children adopted from India, I wanted to change that. I envisioned how coaching could benefit individuals and organizations to empower women and eliminate racism. I asked my coach (who had coached me before as a leader) to help me navigate a new career. Thus began my journey from advisor advocate to curious coach! I became certified as an executive coach at the Hudson Institute (where I also later achieved Master Coach) and launched The Marron Alliance in 2006. I now am training to become certified as a Supervisor of coaches at the Coaching Supervision Academy (CSA) in the UK. Read more...

ICF MN Coaching Diversity Program and Grant- HOW CAN I HELP?

As you may already know, ICF MN has created a Coaching Diversity Program to develop 10 ICF credentialed coaches of color. This is the first program of its kind. We will be writing a grant to fund the majority of the program. Here is how you can help!

Donations: The cost of this program will be $85,000. It is more likely that we will receive a grant if we already have some financial support. ICF MN is giving a grant of $5,000, we are asking ICF Global to support us as well. We have currently received $35,000.00 in donations from around the U.S. Read more...
