Jason Jones ICF-MN fills my bucket!! I look forward to the in person meetings to connect with my tribe of coaches and enjoy the way of being only coaches embody. It energizes me. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/Jason_Jones_1992631113.jpg
Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Irene Kelly

Being a member of ICF offers me the opportunity for certification by the industry professional standard bearer; being a member of ICF Minnesota connects me to my professional peers for networking and collaboration.  Membership in both establishes me as “credible” and provides me opportunities to learn and grow.

Mary Kay Delvo

Being a member of ICF-Minnesota helps me continue to bring my 'best self' to my clients.

March 2022

Vision
Coaching is a trusted and sought-after catalyst for growth in our multicultural community.

 Mission
ICF MN promotes the development of a community of multicultural coaches serving others.

From Our President

ICF President Expanding Coaching

The ICF Minnesota Board was very intentional last year in changing its Mission and Vision with the intent of expanding coaching to a broader community. The updated Vision and Mission follow:

Vision:

Coaching is a trusted and sought-after catalyst for growth in our multicultural community

ICF MN Mission:

ICF MN promotes the development of a community of multicultural coaches serving others

The 2022 ICF Global Consumer Awareness study shared great news that awareness of coaching has been growing over the past several years.

We also know that coaching is most known to those who are fully employed, earlier to mid-career and male. Obviously, there are many groups who are far less aware.

The research also indicated that coaching is often perceived as too expensive and unaffordable, especially by those who may not be working full time.

We would like to play a role in expanding the availability of coaching in Minnesota. If you are interested in joining in and creating this work as a volunteer, please contact
Amy Davis at: admin@icfminnesota.org

Social Media for Professional Coaches:
How to Use Social Media as a Tool for Your Coaching Business

Register here!

Speaker: Krystle Kustanovich
Date: Thursday, March 17th, 2022
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM CST
Location: Zoom
CEU's: 1.5 Resource Development

Description:

This workshop will empower coaches with information that will shift their perspective about Social Media and reveal how they can use it effectively for their coaching businesses. Once coaches understand the way Social Media works, it becomes easier to utilize and navigate. Not everyone realizes the other side of Social Media that involves transforming from being a consumer into a creator. That perspective is needed in order to use Social Media intentionally and successfully.

Gaston Award Nomination Opportunity!

It is time for the Gaston Award Nominations.

What is the Gaston Award?

An Annual Award recognizing a coach who exhibits distinguished service to the coaching profession and the ICF MN chapter. The Gaston Award has been given to a distinguished coach since 2006. The award is in honor of Elaine Gaston, one of our founding members who received the first Gaston Award which focuses on lifetime achievement in service and dedication to the coaching profession.

When will the Gaston Award be given?

The Gaston Award will be given at our annual “Celebration of Excellence & Service in Coaching” on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 starting at 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Ballroom. If Covid conditions will not allow an in-person event, this will change to a Zoom event.

What is the deadline for nominations? June 30, 2022

How do I nominate someone? There is an on-line form on the ICFMinnesota.org website. Underneath the pull-down menu access the Gaston link: Gaston Award Page

Our intention is to ensure that everyone has significant time and chance to nominate someone that exemplifies the true nature of the coaching profession.
