What does Diversity mean for Coaches?
Facilitator: Professional Development
Date: Thursday, Oct 19, 2023
Time: 6:30 PM-8:00 PM CST
Location: Zoom
Description:
As members of the ICF community, we ascribe to the core values of integrity, excellence, collaboration, and respect. The foundation of these values is a shared commitment to diversity, inclusion, belonging and justice.” ICF’s statement on Diversity and Inclusion.
In this large group and small group facilitated program, we will explore diversity: What are the layers involved in this word? What does it embody? How does it show up for us and our clients? What values, and stories and experiences inform a deep sense of that word? And how does it affect our relationships and communication with our clients?
Join us in discovering how diversity builds on the previous session of “Belonging”. How a deeper understanding of Diversity* can help inform our Chapter Vision as well as Belonging, Equity, Inclusion and Justice as coaches. Bring curiosity as well as vulnerability in a safe as well as brave space.
