Can you believe it’s already the middle of the year? Maybe it comes from my corporate days, but I always feel like June is a great time for a mid-year check in, so here is what we’ve been up to so far this year, what we’re looking forward to in the second half, and ways you can help us continue living into our mission, vision, and values. I hope June brings you what you desire and we can’t wait to see and hear from you in the coming months.

In this presentation, coaches will learn how to make all clients feel welcome and accepted.
Coaches learn to identify and help clients unleash their unique strengths through an appreciative, culturally relevant lens. Core ICF competencies are integrated with diversity, equity, and inclusion principles to cultivate belonging.
Participants gain tools to mitigate biases, uphold ethical practices, and facilitate growth through the DEI framework created by Dr. Kiki Ramsey called Positively Diverse Leadership.
The ultimate goal is maximizing human potential in coaching through diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. | On May 14th, ICF MN had the opportunity to share an update on our pro bono coaching partnership - Giving WoMN at their annual meeting. Leaders from each of these grantees are working with an ICF MN coach for a year:

Ann Florell | | | Remembering Kathie Allen 1947-2024 | Kathie Allen, Grand Rapids, MN, passed away April 5, 2024.
Prior to receiving certification as a life coach, Kathie had a 30-year career as a physical education teacher and women's athletic coach at Itasca Community College, Grand Rapids, MN.
She received honors including Outstanding Faculty Member and induction into both the ICC and Bemidji State University Athletic Halls of Fame. She pioneered change and equality for women’s athletics statewide. She held coaching certifications from CTI and ICF. She was a graduate of the CTI Co-Active Leadership Program, held StrengthsFinder coach certification and studied relationship coaching.
She was creator/facilitator of the Jen Guyer Leadership Program for Students.
Her zest for life, ‘How can I help attitude’, and compassion for inspiring herself and others to make a difference, are a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her for years to come. | | | | Welcome May New Members!

ICF Global launched the first session of the 2024 Credentialing Webinar Series on the Value of an ICF Credential!
This year, the entire series will be presented within the ICF Global Learning Portal. The first session is live now within the portal and all sessions will be in one course this year. Within the course, members will be able to find additional information about the series. Links to attend the live sessions will be available on the date and time of the session. In addition, members will be able to access the recordings of the webinars as they become available.
*Note: individuals must have an ICF account to access the series. If non-members need assistance in creating an account, please have them contact ICF Customer Support Team.
