Looking for a way to be more involved with ICF MN? We are always looking for Board and Committee members to help us put our mission and vision into action and bring to life what our membership is asking for.
We are currently recruiting for three Board positions for the 2025 fiscal year. If any of these sound interesting to you, please reach out to PresidentElect@icfminnesota.org. We’d love to connect with you!
President Elect: this position is for someone who wants to learn and support the President and the Board in carrying out its initiatives, and is ultimately interested in leading the Chapter as President for one year. This is a three-year term starting with President-Elect, moving to President, and then serving as Past President.
Co-Director of Outreach & Partnerships: this role is a great fit for people who love connecting with and building relationships with outside organizations, business leaders, and associations to bring greater attention to the work of our chapter and to the coaching profession.
Co-Director of Marketing & Communications: if your strengths include, creativity, writing, and marketing, you’d be great in this role which partners with the other Co-Director in managing the marketing, advertising, public relations, community outreach and advocacy efforts for the chapter. This role supports other committees ensuring their messages and programs are promoted to our members and beyond.
Director of Membership: This is great for someone who loves connecting with people and finding ways to engage, retain, and grow our membership. |
Announcing The Loretta Diez Coach Training Scholarship for 2025
ICF Minnesota established the Loretta Diez Coach Training Scholarship in honor of Loretta Diez, an ICF Minnesota coach and board member who exemplified the character traits we wish to honor and celebrate. Loretta was paralyzed in a car accident at the age of 22 and her attitude, accomplishments, contributions, and approach to life inspires us to pursue our dreams with courage, tenacity, resilience, honesty, kindness, humor, integrity and hope.
ICF Minnesota is on a mission to promote the development of a diverse community of coaches dedicated to serving others inclusively and equitably and awarding this scholarship to an ICF accredited educational organization for individual coaching education opportunities is one of the ways in which we will support this mission.
The Scholarship recipient will receive the following benefits:
● Tuition Scholarship of $2500 to help cover the costs of an assigned Level 1 (60+ hours) ICF accredited Coaching Education program. Education can be provided virtually or in-person.
● Complimentary ICF Minnesota membership for length of scholarship/training.
● Access to a certified coach partner to support you throughout your Level 1 accredited training program.
Evaluation criteria:
We will be evaluating applicants based on need, personal narrative, and potential for impact.
Eligibility requirements:
● Annual Household Income of $80,000 or less
This requirement was established after an in-depth examination of attendance costs at ICF accredited coach training programs. In alignment with ICF Minnesota’s mission to expand access, the Loretta Diez Scholarship Program has been specifically designed for those who come from households earning $80,0000 annually or less.
● Minnesota resident (based on most recent tax return)
● Participating in a 2025 ICF accredited coach training program
Note: "Our gold sponsor, Center for Coaches in Organizations has generously offered to match our scholarship should the recipient decide to apply to and be accepted to their coaching program, ECO, for the 2025 cohort. We are so grateful for this contribution to making coaching education more accessible!"
