Jason Jones ICF-MN fills my bucket!! I look forward to the in person meetings to connect with my tribe of coaches and enjoy the way of being only coaches embody. It energizes me. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/Jason_Jones_1992631113.jpg
Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Irene Kelly

Being a member of ICF offers me the opportunity for certification by the industry professional standard bearer; being a member of ICF Minnesota connects me to my professional peers for networking and collaboration.  Membership in both establishes me as “credible” and provides me opportunities to learn and grow.

I Invite You to Quilt with Me

I have several friends who are quilters that create beautiful works of art. These creations are frequently displayed as wall hangings or used as bedding. They often radiate the feelings of the quilter. They can also warm the user’s heart and body.

In one case, I received the gift of a quilt from a close friend (see photo above). The story behind its creation fascinates me. She had a design in mind and was looking for color inspiration by searching through images in magazines and on the internet. Eventually she found “the one” – an image that said, “Cheryl” to her. I cherish this story – it reminds me that anyone who knows me can create a “life quilt,” either real or imagined, representing me and the relationship I have with that individual.

If we chose, each of us could gather “fabrics” of all of our experiences and piece them together to create a very personal ‘life quilt’. What does yours look like? How do you want it to look? What fabrics and pieces would you like to add in the years to come?

Quilts eventually wear out; trust me, it’s true. However, every quilter knows that all leftover fabric is stored for the next project. My friends have rooms full of fabric attesting to this fact! A new quilt can be made by using cherished fabrics to design a new pattern and a fresh combination of colors to create a completely new look and feel and purpose.

It may be worth our time to pause and look at our life quilts. How well is your quilt serving you? Is it wearing out? What if you designed a new quilt? What would it look and feel like? How would it represent you? How would it serve you and possibly others?

Happy quilting this spring!
