Jason Jones ICF-MN fills my bucket!! I look forward to the in person meetings to connect with my tribe of coaches and enjoy the way of being only coaches embody. It energizes me. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/Jason_Jones_1992631113.jpg
Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Irene Kelly

Being a member of ICF offers me the opportunity for certification by the industry professional standard bearer; being a member of ICF Minnesota connects me to my professional peers for networking and collaboration.  Membership in both establishes me as “credible” and provides me opportunities to learn and grow.

President's Letter

Robin

Robins in the Rain

Today is a gray, rainy day. As I geared up for my walk, I gave myself a pep talk. Telling myself we need the rain, it will green everything up, etc. It helped me a little to focus on the gifts the rain brought. Then as I walked, I noticed how good it felt to be wet rather than pelted by ice or snow. I listened to the gentle sound of the rain on the grass and pavement. I smelled the wet earth. It felt good to enjoy being present in the rain with the assurance that spring was on the way. My tread was lighter, and I was ready for the day. It was a subtle transition and one of the biggest reasons I make every effort to walk outside each day.
Later in the morning, I glanced out to our backyard and noticed the robins. There were flocks of them loudly, joyfully singing and flying around in the rain. As I watched them, I thought, "Wow, I enjoyed the rain while they actually are reveling in it! What can I learn from that?" The sound of them allowed my own spirit to soar with them.

This all got me wondering about a few things:

· How can we be joyful in the midst of the ‘rain’?

· What can we do to help others see the gifts in situations?

· How can we help others soar to new heights?

ICF Minnesota aspires to support you, the member, in ways that allow you to help your clients and community soar.

Meet Tim Bot

1. What brought you to coaching?

After an HR career with General Mills, Boston Scientific and Protolabs, I wanted to focus on the area I enjoyed most, leadership coaching and helping leaders achieve their goals.

2. Tell us about your coaching practice. (Niche, ideal client, etc.)

I am the catalyst that instills confidence and peace of mind in others that allows them to achieve their goals.  I work with a wide range of leaders, from founders/small business CEO’s to executives in Fortune 100 companies.

3. What do you love about your coaching work?

Chirzad Chamine, Stanford Lecturer and NYT best-selling author of Positive Intelligence – I was one of the first 14 coaches in the world to become a Certified Positive Intelligence (PQ) Coach.  Other coaches I’ve engaged with to coach me have been influencers:  many from Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara where I trained, Peter Berridge, MCC, Jenny Peterson, PhD, PCC and Lance Hazzard, PCC.  Favorite podcast is The Happiness Lab by Dr. Laura Santos.

4. Tell us about the coaching tools, books, podcasts, etc. that you follow that helps you to stay informed.

ICF-MN is a wonderful, supportive community, offering great training and connections with talented coaches.

5. How has ICF-MN helped you as a coach?
I appreciated the warm welcome I received from ICF Minnesota members, who are a rich source for connection, collaboration and questions in support of one another, ultimately serving our clients and the area. I appreciate the education opportunities and Mastermind group.
