Jason Jones ICF-MN fills my bucket!! I look forward to the in person meetings to connect with my tribe of coaches and enjoy the way of being only coaches embody. It energizes me. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/Jason_Jones_1992631113.jpg
Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Irene Kelly

Being a member of ICF offers me the opportunity for certification by the industry professional standard bearer; being a member of ICF Minnesota connects me to my professional peers for networking and collaboration.  Membership in both establishes me as “credible” and provides me opportunities to learn and grow.

President's Letter

Blind Spots

Lately, I have been reflecting on the impact of blind spots in our lives. If you saw my letter last month, you will understand why.

I had to write many papers while in graduate school. My degree was in accounting and every paper used the word “accounting” several times. Those of us in the program quickly developed a blind spot when it came to spelling the word accounting. The number of times our professors pointed out typos of this word filled our returned papers with red ink. To their credit, the professors never docked points for these typos, and I always assumed they were being gracious to us as they helped us improve.

One weekend we were snowed in due to a blizzard. I was excited to have the opportunity to spend extra time proofreading my paper before submitting it to the professor. I thought, “Certainly I can ensure ‘accounting’ is typed perfectly every time in this paper! read more...

All coaches have an opportunity to create ways for their clients to thrive despite challenging life and health conditions. Developing skills that expand a coach’s presence and create a safe and sacred container are critical to this process. We will explore the 4 Pillars of Health Coaching, including mindfulness, safe and sacred space, authentic communication and expanded self-awareness.

Meet the Coach

Meet Lindsey Heiserman

1. What brought you to coaching?
I have been a coach my entire life. I remember moderating a group of girls in the 4th grade after getting in a disagreement on the playground. I started my career as a personal trainer following my deep passion for improving the lives of others through movement. From there, I knew life change was so much deeper than exercise which led me to complete a Master's degree in counseling and psychotherapy.

2.Tell us about your coaching practice. (Niche, ideal client, etc.) I currently work with fitness and wellness (and coaching) business owners in a life and business coaching capacity. My work is human first. From there we collaboratively create offers and their business model while always supporting the person and their life. I lead a group coaching program called "Fitness and Wellness Business Mentorship.” read more...

BIPOC Safe Space Session

ICF MN is doing its part as an organization to deal with issues that relate to indifferences that deal directly with equity and inclusion. One way we are working toward a better tomorrow is by creating a Safe Space for BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) Coaches.

The group meets from12:00-1:00 PM on the 4th Friday of each month through December. It is a place where BIPOC coaches can network, share stories, trade insights, and be able to be seen and heard.
We invite you to our next session!
