Five years ago, I hired a life coach and it literally changed the trajectory of my life. Before I began coaching, I didn’t feel like I knew what I enjoyed anymore; I didn’t feel like I was really connected to ‘me’ anymore.
For so many years I had a plan and a direction, but somehow, I allowed everything around me to influence what I did and how I felt, rather than being in control and in the driver’s seat. I had lost my sense of self.
The rediscovery of my ‘self’ through coaching impacted my family, my job, my kids, and me in wonderful ways. I am filled with joy as I think about the transformations possible for my clients through coaching and am honored to be a guide on their journey.
For my education, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and then attended the University of St. Thomas where I earned my MBA with a major in accounting. I worked for 20 years in professional services firms first as a tax accountant and then in human resources. During my experience as a Human Resource Manager, I found my passion of working to help people thrive. This led me to seek life coaching as a career. I attended Learning Journeys The International Center of Coaching’s Coach Practitioner program and where I earned my ACC ICF Certification and am now working as a Life Coach.
I partner with individuals to embrace and uncover their authentic self in order to live a more fulfilling life. This transformation focuses on the whole being and impacts both professional and personal life. The individuals I work with are empowered to create the life they felt was possible but needed the time, space, guidance, and accountability to make it a reality.
